Our Method

AMAUTA is known for its interactive, communicative and personal teaching methods. You can choose from our standard group classes, or customized individual programs. Both include four hours of instruction per day from Monday to Friday.

All AMAUTA SPANISH courses include:

• Development of listening, writing and reading comprehension
• Exercises to extend vocabulary and improve pronunciation
• Study of grammar, both theory and practice
• Guided conversation, role playing and debates

Our own Latin America-oriented text books form the basis of the course, in combination with other materials such as newspapers, songs, literature, cassettes, videos and grammar exercises, including the use of overhead projectors, videos, and other audio-visual materials.

However, all of our courses are focused on practical activities and exercises through which the students will learn in an interactive environment, thus learning the Spanish language quickly.

Our highly qualified and experienced local teachers may arrange for students to visit typical locations such as museums, art galleries, churches, some of the beautiful parks, the Botanic Gardens, the main Plazas, and special displays specific to certain fiestas during the year.

We also offer complementary cultural courses every day, and these are an excellent way to practice and improve your Spanish in activities all directed towards learning in a dynamic environment where you will also learn about Latin American culture.
