I am very happy to be part of AMAUTA. As the Head of Studies, I am very pleased to be organizing the Spanish courses, working with lesson materials, programming the cultural activities, which I enjoy very much. AMAUTA recently opened it´s doors in Buenos Aires and we are proud to be part of this and will welcome you and your friend in this big, incredible city wich you will love, without a doubt!. |

I like teaching in Amauta for many reasons, but mainly because I enjoy seeing how my students live their experience. I love it when they start speaking Spanish with argentines or among themselves. It’s very interesting that they don’t just learn a language; they also can connect with our culture and visit Buenos Aires in a completely different way. Last but not least, being in Belgrano allows them to study in a fascinating city without the noises from the centre: our school is surrounded by big trees and stone streets.

Working in Amauta is more tha having a great job. It´s the place where I can be myself completely, and I can tell that most of the students feel the same way after a few weeks here. Amauta is a multicultural space where everyone can exchange knowledge of every kind. Language is our passion and our purpose, but also our excuse to meet each other and share the magic of this incredible city. You cannot miss this experience!!

I have been working as a Spanish teacher for foreigners for five years now and honestly I´m not tired of teaching my language and share part of my culture with curious people who want to know a bit more about Buenos Aires, Argentina and Latinamerica. Personally, I think to get to know the other one is the first step to respect the other one, the respect, the tolerance and the love are the ingredients that we need to make this world a better place. So I would like to give classes in Amauta, because your team shares and gives the possibility to develop this idea. We all learn and turn to persons with integrity when we share the culture happily.

To me language is more than wonderful. Far from a theoretical learning I believe that learning a language means opening doors, breaking down barriers and escape from isolation. Getting to know the language of a people is to enter into the heart of their culture, its depths and to meet the enormous wealth those people have been treasured for ages. As a teacher I am amazed every day to see my students following this road: they start with fear and shame, they allow themselves to make mistakes ; little by little interest on "the other" grows, discovering much more of what lies behind a grammar. It is particularly rewarding to share something so precious to me, something that constitutes my identity and to help students to leave the "mute" and enjoy a fulfilling experience in our country
