The AMAUTA Trainee Program is especially designed for students and recent graduates who are looking for a challenging working experience in South America. Professional experience abroad looks great on a resume. Furthermore, most participants finish our program speaking fluent Spanish. The work accomplished in a different culture and circumstances will be greatly appreciated by future employees.
AMAUTA offers traineeships in the following fields:
Please let us know in case you have any other specific skills and we will be happy to tailor a traineeship in Peru or Argentina to your specific needs.
A four week Spanish course is required as a beginning to all the internships positions. This will enable a complete beginner to communicate in Spanish upon finishing the course. The course includes grammar, conversation, listening, reading and writing. During their placement, trainees can also attend our specially designed Spanish Classes for Volunteers & Interns once a week. This will allow them to rehearse their Spanish in an informal and entertaining way.
Students will stay in the student residence or in a student flat.
The traineeship program is designed for students or recent graduates in all fields with a minimum age of 18 years old. The only formal requirement is a minimum commitment of twenty weeks. The first four weeks of the program will be spent studying Spanish; the traineeship will continue for at least sixteen more weeks. In order to work in some of the organizations, the participants might have to take more than four weeks of Spanish to reach a more advanced level of Spanish. A general project or overall goal for your internship is encouraged.
