My experience this week at AMAUTA Spanish school was excellent. I took a one week course at beginner's level with classes four hours a day each day. The school is located in a beautiful building in a great location of Buenos Aires that is easily accessible by subte or bus. My teachers Nathalia and Gulia were competent and professional and kept the classes interesting with the learning excercises such as practising a past tense form of verbs through the review of a south american rock song. They also maintained a strict "spanish only policy" in the classroom which I feel is essential to learning a new language and they were encouraging and supportive in applying this rule. I am very impressed with the progress that I made in my spoken spanish after only four days of classes.
In addition to classes, the school also offers volunteer opportunities, as well as suggestions for local tourism and even arranges some weekend tours for students. As an added bonus, there are computers and internet access provided free for students use in spare time. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking for a quality long or short term spanish study program in Buenos Aires.

hello!!
I´m Thomas and I have been working as a volunteer from AMAUTA for 8 weeks. I started with Spanish classes. I really enjoyed my time at AMAUATA and my time as a volunteer. I improved my Spanish a lot and I really felt like I was doing a great job in the project. I worked in a project with boys from 6 to 17 years old. They all had a very sad history. Understanding the boys was a bit of a problem in the beginning because their Spanish is really different. In a few days I got used to it and I could fully enjoy my time over there. So if you wanna study Spanish and do something good for the poor people over here in Buenos Aires, AMAUTA is a really good option. I´ll probably be coming back next year!.

I have enjoyed classes at AMAUTA very much. My teachers are lovely, and I've had a lot of fun practicing my conversational skills. The format of the classes is very different from that of most other schools I have attended in Buenos Aires. AMAUTA is much stronger in conversational development. Both serve distinct purposes, and while I needed more grammatical growth before, I now need to develop my ability to speek and to incorporate the grammar and lessons I have learned. AMAUTA´s style is just what I need now.

Studying at the AMAUTA School was a very good experience for me. You meet many people from different places and the teachers are very good and friendly. They teach you Spanish in a very interactive way, so the classes are really fun to do. For example, one morning we went to Chinatown to practice our lessons in real life by buying fruit. Or telling a story by expressing verbs with a little group of students, make pictures of it and let the other group guess what you mean. During the week, the school organized excursions after class, so you also get to learn a lot about Buenos Aires and the Argentinean culture through the free cultural classes.

So far I have been at AMAUTA Buenos Aires for a week, and my Spanish have improved a lot since. AMAUTA completes my Spanish training in a very good way by providing an essential part in competent teaching and interacting with others currently on the same language level. This together with the Spanish speaking family that I live with, computer program and Spanish cds, makes me feel totally immersed by the language. And of course, the social part with activities outside the school such as pub nights, museum visits and much more is also great. AMAUTA provides great opportunities for Spanish training in Buenos Aires.

At AMAUTA you can choose between many different courses combined with excursions, music classes, cooking classes, much culture and alot more! It is interesting to learn not only Spanish but more about the country from the teacehrs. They are very experienced and helpful and the people who work at AMAUTA can really help you with any questions or requests. Living at the school makes it very easy to meet other students outside of your own classmates. You have breakfast and lunch with people from all over the world! In between classes the students relax outside on the terrace and it´s really great! Next to AMAUTA I would recommend Buenos Aires as it is a town with much to do where you can meet alot of different people. It is a great place to visit and the nightlife is excellent. I only have one week left here and that is really sad especially because I have met alot of great friends here. However, the great thing is knowing that after you leave AMAUTA you can visit all of your new friends which is really nice!

AMAUTA was a great place to connect with other students from around the world and to learn Spanish in a friendly environment. The staff took time to make sure that I was placed at the correct level for my classes and the professors integrated games, discussion and writing in class.

I spent one month at AMAUTA studying Spanish. I must say that the professors here are the best! Their friendly demeanor and positive attitude make it easy to be in a wonderful learning environment. They know how to correct the students without making them feel badly. They were definitely the best part of my experience at AMAUTA.

AMAUTA was welcoming from the start and I cannot imagine a more spectacular location to study Spanish. The language classes have been challenging and invigorating. It has been great to be able to put my Spanish to use while exploring the city and the surrounding ruins in my free time.
