My two months in AMAUTA Spanish School were more than just learning Spanish in Peru. Besides great teachers and extracurricular activities the school has many students from other countries and ages which enriched my experience enough. To complement, Cusco is an amazing city with amazing places. I am very happy that I spent time learning Spanish in Peru.

From 18 april until 26th of May I was a volunteer from AMAUTA during my stay in Cusco Peru, after that I’d learnt first Spanish at AMAUTA Buenos Aires. I absolutely enjoyed my time over here! AMAUTA is situated at a great location. I met so many people from different countries. Besides we had a great dinner every day!

Study Spanish at AMAUTA has been a great experience. After my time here I have grown to love the staff. They are so caring and provide a great living experience. And the location couldn´t be better. Right in the heart of Cusco. Great restaurants, nightlife and local culture. I would recommend AMAUTA to everyone.

AMAUTA Spanish School is a great school, I enjoy being here. The teachers are great, my Spanish is doing really well and I improve a lot. The school is located in a very central location. We are very close to everything and it takes only two minutes to get to the Plaza de Armas. The food here is very good. Oscar is a great chef and the rest of the staff at AMAUTA Cusco is really friendly. Also nice is that the school has a doctor available for little and bigger problems.

AMAUTA feels like a big family. There are always people. It is situated close to the Plaza de Armas in the middle of the centre. Amauta offers rooms in the school and you can also stay in a host family. I stayed in a host family and I felt very welcome there. The Spanish classes are really fun and I learned a lot. You have the possibility to go to the Sacred Valley for a week. You have classes outside in the middle of the nature. It´s really quit en beautiful there.

I recommend AMAUTA Spanish School because:

  • The professors are nice and the courses are interesting. We go out to museums, local markets, etc. and the learning process is rather quick.
  • The school offers a panel of activities that goes from cocktail class to salsa (every Friday) with also talks about the Peruvian culture and movies.
  • The atmosphere is always very good with the fellow students and professors alike, even though sometimes there is a bit of language barrier because most of the students speak English.
