When I arrived at AMAUTA Spanish School, I immediately received a warm welcome. I really liked the combination of living in a host family during the first week and then moving to the AMAUTA residence. It is nice to see how people in Cusco live and eat together, and it is also really good for your Spanish. But living in the residence at school it´s more fun. I recommend this combination! I loved the visit to the San Pedro Market with our teacher!

Learning Spanish at AMAUTA Cusco was one of the best experiences of my life. Going to school has never been this fun. This is how school is supposed to be! My favorite moments were the field trips with the teachers. Thanks for introducing me to the lovely Peruvian "picarones" !

Hola! Yo soy Sarah de los Estados Unidos. I studied for 6 weeks at AMAUTA Peru and during my time here, my Spanish improved a lot. I really do feel like I learned so much from my teachers—so many new words and tenses! I also really enjoyed the experience because Cusco is such an amazing place to visit because there are so many things to see and to do. My experience just within the AMAUTA community was also great because I didn´t expect to meet so many wonderful people from all over the world. I definitely would recommend AMAUTA to my friends back in the US

I enjoyed my Spanish classes in Cusco a lot and it was so nice to meet so many different people here! I really liked my classes because I got two teachers a day and then once a week we got to do something fun with our Spanish teachers. I’d recommend anyone to learn Spanish at AMAUTA in Cusco.

I studied at AMAUTA Spanish School in Peru for four weeks and I had a great time learning Spanish in Cusco. The free pisco sour cocktail class was fun because Carmen (AMAUTA´s cheff) made it really interactive and interesting. I would certainly recommend AMAUTA to my friends back home.

Hola, yo soy Julius! I am from Prague, in the Czech Republic! Studying Spanish is my hobby, and I usually take trips to Spain once a year. This is my first time in Latin America, and I am enjoying myself very much. I love everything about the Spanish-speaking world—the language, the culture, the cooking, etc.
I studied Spanish at AMAUTA´s school in Cusco for four weeks. My experience was awesome, as I met tons of interesting people from all over the world, including a good friend from Switzerland! I especially enjoyed the time I spent in classes with my Spanish professors. I feel like I really connected with them, and I think we will keep in touch! I love being given the opportunity to improve my Spanish and immerse myself in the Peruvian culture here in Cusco.
I´m excited to say that I will continue my time here at AMAUTA volunteering at a local primary school in Cusco for the next two months!..

Hola, soy Frederico! I am from Italy.
I studied at AMAUTA Cuscovfor four weeks. I think that my Spanish improved a lot while I was here because I was able to immerse myself in the Spanish language both inside and outside of the classroom. I felt my classes prepared me for the exchanges I had with the local people in Peru because they focused on real language acquisition, rather than just the writing or the grammar. It was so incredible to be able to practice what I learned in class throughout my time exploring Cusco!.
I also lived at the residence in the school and participated in some of the free activities, including the Peruvian cooking classes, which I liked a lot because Carmen (AMAUTA’s chef) is amazing! I also went to a chat about the Quechua language, which was very interesting. I would highly recommend AMAUTA to anyone interested in studying Spanish in Peru..

My name is Lars Kappeler and I studied Spanish here for 11 weeks. I liked my classes; they were interesting, I learned a lot, and the professors are just nice people. My Spanish improved a lot! I came here with no Spanish and now I can talk fluently. My homestay family experience was also really good because I could practice my Spanish at home. I would recommend studying at Amauta because it is a good school!.

My name is Aleksandra Vernekohl, and I volunteered through Amauta Spanish School in Cusco. I volunteered at an after-school project, where I played with the kids, helped with their homework, and helped prepare their daily snack. It was cool to see how I could make the kids happy by spending time with them. I would, of course, recommend volunteering with Amauta Spanish School because I loved the children here and it was a great experience.

My name is Daniela, I´m from Austria, and I´ve been here for two weeks learning Spanish in Peru. I liked my Spanish classes; the professors are all really good, and I liked their teaching method. My Spanish improved, though two weeks isn´t much time, so it would have been nice to stay longer to learn more. I enjoyed the activities that they offered, as the cooking class. I would recommend Amauta Spanish School, in fact, I hope I can come back next year!
