I would recommend AMAUTA, because the teachers are using modern technics, the lessons are funny and all people working at AMAUTA are very kind and care for if you have any problems. There are also a lot of activities organised by the school you can join.

It´s a great school with lots of nice people and great activities as well. The Spanish classes are really good and enjoyable, so AMAUTA is the perfect place in Cusco to learn Spanish and do volunteer work.

AMAUTA is a great base to have if you are staying in Cusco. You have access to Spanish classes, volunteering, internet, laundry and a great social life, amongst other things. I enjoyed my time there immensely and would recommend it to others who want to develop their Spanish language in Cusco.

It is a good learning environment and a good location in town. By constantly changing the teachers, it varies lesson structure and content which promotes learning. Tea and coffee is available all day for free and there are good facilities such as wireless internet and TV lounge.

My reasons to recommend AMAUTA are various. There is a lot of flexibility, kindness of everybody and the lessons are practical. Specially at the beginning it´s difficult to understand the Spanish in class, but if necessary they always tell you in English. I´m talking and thinking in 3 languages now, that´s exhausting, but I learn quickly, just as everybody else.
We have a lot of laughs during class, but we learn a lot in the lessons. If I had to choose again, I would choose AMAUTA Spanish School.
Of course there are a lot of possibilities to do volunteer work and practice Spanish at the same time.

I would recommend AMAUTA to anyone wanting to learn Spanish. The teachers encourage a Spanish-only speaking environment, which is excellent for learning. All of the students here are friendly, it´s really easy to make friends. The school works closely with Dos Manos, which is good, because there is a good variety of excursions: paragliding, rafting, mountain biking etc. AMAUTA also offers different kinds of activities (for free!) such as salsa, film nights, cooking, music class…
The school also offers students the opportunity to stay in Tambopata (the rainforest) and Yanahuara (Sacred Valley) for a change of scenery. Food is included and very tasty. I couldn´t recommend it highly enough.

I had the time of my life at AMAUTA. The people I met I will cherish forever. I had so much fun during the classes and the activities. I went paragliding in the Sacred Valley which was incredible and I will never forget the memories and the people I have met.

AMAUTA is a great place to learn Spanish, meet new friends, and explore Cusco and the Sacred Valley. You can progress very quickly in class and you have different teachers each week so you can learn more about the Peruvian culture from their different experiences. Everyone is very friendly and there is always something to do, whether it´s visiting the Inca Ruins or salsa dancing in the clubs. You can take classes for one week in the Sacred Valley at no extra cost. Here we went quard biking to Moray, visited the Salt Mines and Ollantaytambo and had a bonfire - it was awesome.
