To study Spanish while being on vacation, Cusco is a nice place to go to. Having now spent 5 of my 8 weeks here the only bad thing about the school I can think of is its street (which is killing me every time I have to walk up). But teachers are funny, the school is next to the center and people working in the residence are more than friendly (always good to practice my Spanish with them). There is also the possibility to spend a week with the school in the Sacred Valley. As that week has been amazing for me, I highly recommend it. Cusco has so much to offer that it´s really up to you to make it an awesome trip.

AMAUTA was a really nice experience, the landscape is beautiful,Machu Picchu amazing and the possibility to meet people from different countries. That´s why I recommend AMAUTA to others who would like to see Peru and maybe later travel in South America.

I would recommend AMAUTA to anyone who wants to learn Spanish, no matter what level they are. I have had a great experience meeting the other students and the teachers were so helpful and friendly. The school has a good mixture of classroom activities and excursions. I also had a great experience at the school in the Sacred Valley – the food was incredible. I would definitely return to the school.

AMAUTA School is set in an idyllic setting overlooking the centre of Cusco. I found it an open and friendly atmosphere for people of all ages and abilities. AMAUTA offers the perfect balance of learning and socialising for their students with options to learn cooking and dancing, as well as Spanish. I found AMAUTA extremely helpful in all aspects of my visit to Cusco. The host family and their house were fantastic, and they offer extracurricular treks and expeditions in abundance. I visited with two friends to Cusco for five weeks and don´t think we would have had half the trip if we hadn´t chosen AMAUTA.

First of all you learn a lot of grammar in a short time. It´s good that you have grammar lessons and conversation. The teachers talk slowly so that you can understand everything. It´s always fun in school. Everybody comes with some intension and everyone is really nice. If you sleep at school you feel like home. The AMAUTA staff is really nice and always helpful.

I´m here for six weeks now, I have individual and group classes. The classes are really intensive, because the students have to talk a lot. I like this concept – talk a lot to learn a language. The teachers are really nice and they work really professional.

I didn´t expect that 4 weeks in Cusco and AMAUTA would be so fascinating. All that you need to learn or improve your Spanish they have here. The best thing about learning Spanish in Cusco is that you are in a very historical city of South America , the capital of the Inca Empire. Besides AMAUTA helps its students to be close to the Peruvian culture with lessons, stories, cooking and dancing classes. Owing to the fact that AMAUTA is a well reknowned school, I did a lot of friends from all over the world. Thank you AMAUTA for given me the best Spanish experience!

I really liked that you can learn the language and grammar and at the same time you get to know typical poems of the country and the culture. The teachers take their time for individual weaknesses and problems without the influence on the improvement of the class. Besides I liked the familiar atmosfere in school.
