I didn´t expect that 4 weeks in Cusco and AMAUTA would be so fascinating. All that you need to learn or improve your Spanish they have here. The best thing about learning Spanish in Cusco is that you are in a very historical city of South America , the capital of the Inca Empire. Besides AMAUTA helps its students to be close to the Peruvian culture with lessons, stories, cooking and dancing classes. Owing to the fact that AMAUTA is a well reknowned school, I did a lot of friends from all over the world. Thank you AMAUTA for given me the best Spanish experience!

I really liked that you can learn the language and grammar and at the same time you get to know typical poems of the country and the culture. The teachers take their time for individual weaknesses and problems without the influence on the improvement of the class. Besides I liked the familiar atmosfere in school.

AMAUTA has perfect support, a really nice atmosphere outside of classes and really good teachers. There is nothing to complain about! The classrooms are good equipped and the atmosphere in the classes is nice and funny what makes studying of vocabulary and grammar a lot easier. The groups are small, so you have to talk a lot and there is no better way to learn Spanish in a short time. That is my experience. Before my arrival in Cusco my knowledge in Spanish were not a lot. But already after two weeks it was possible to have a conversation with my hostmum. I would recommend AMAUTA to everyone, what they offer is unique. A great place to learn Spanish.

I would recommend AMAUTA because of its varieties of opportunities. AMAUTA is not only a school it also offers a lot of things that you can learn and do. There are various programms in which you can learn something about the culture of the country (for example cooking classes or salsa classes). Furthermore they help you if you have problems at the beginning and they try to support you in these situations.

It´s a good modern Spanish school with nice teachers and a good infrastructure and the possibility of living and booking trips right at school. You meet new and interesting people here. Services at school which make it really a place to be like breakfast and lunch, the possibility to cook dinner yourself, laundry and a free computer room with wireless internet make it a prefered place to learn Spanish in Peru.

The teachers are really motivated. Next to the language they also tell about their culture, Peruvian life and problems in their country. This is very interesting for travelers like me.

My sister and I spent four weeks here in school repeating our Spanish. The teachers and the staff are really nice and help a lot whenever they can. In classes there is always the possibility to ask questions and most of the teachers respect the wishes of the students. We really liked the atmosphere and the possibility to study in Yanahuara where we had an awesome time

AMAUTA is a conveniently located, well run school in Cusco. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. While it must be difficult for the teachers to begin with the new students each week, they able to do it in an organized and professional way. The placement test was quick, efficient and accurate. In my case, the students are all interesting with different stories and experiences. The Homestay option of the program had been great for me as my family home is located n the centre of Cusco. The family is big and entertaining. The agency in the US that made all the reservations for me was also great.

AMAUTA´s School has a very nice terrace and the rooms are for small classes. The teachers are very friendly every day. It is very good that the school has an internet room with 5 computers. You can do a lot of things in your free time, like horseback riding, bungee jumping, rock climbing, biking etc. Cusco is a very interesting city and you can visit a lot of museums and markets.
