I spent 8 days at AMAUTA in December 2009. The school was very friendly and efficient. The three teachers I had were great. I feel I have made a good start on learning Spanish for my trip around South America.

AMAUTA is a great place to learn Spanish and a great place to meet friends from all over the world. The professors are engaging and always willing to share Peruvian culture with their students. Thanks for a great three months!

I have been here for 4 weeks now. The classes are very good and I learn a lot. It is great to live here in the students residence, the people are all very nice. I came here alone but in a short period of time I met so many people who are now my friends. AMAUTA is very flexible, if I want something else than I have planned for they always look and find a way to solve that. All the teachers are also very nice.

I have stayed with AMAUTA for 10 days now and i am really enjoying my life here. There are several reasons for that. The people here are so friendly and nice and the teachers are very professional. There are also a lot of interesting activities and I made a lot of friends from all over the world. I have got six weeks left and I am sure it´s going to be six great weeks. One more thing, salsa classes here are wonderful!

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 weeks of classes at AMAUTA. The teachers were excellent, both in group and individual classes. The various after class activities offered to students free of charge were most interesting ( cooking classes, films, presentations on various topics of interest). The placement with a family offered a good opportunity to gain a better understanding of the Peruvian way of living and also to practice speaking Spanish. My stay here has been very enjoyable and has allowed me to improve my Spanish significantly.

I stayed with AMAUTA in Peru for 3 months and I really liked it. The first month I stayed in a very nice guest family. When I lived in school I had a nice room. Most of the AMAUTA staff was always friendly and tried to make your stay as satisfying and comfortable as possible. All the teachers I had were very good and I learned a lot during their lessons.

I had a great experience at AMAUTA. The people were extremely helpful and nice. Everyone from the administration, the teachers, to the kitchen staff. I really enjoyed the convenience of living at the school. If I come back to study Spanish in Cusco again, I will definitely choose AMAUTA.

The AMAUTA School is in a very nice area, a 5 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas and most bars and restaurants. The teachers are very friendly and nice and their teaching methods are brilliant. You learn a lot about the Peruvian history and culture while studying grammar, vocabularies and of course speaking. Being able to speak Spanish opens plenty of opportunities and is very helpful when traveling through South America. I have had a great time here and made lots of friends from all over the world.

I have found AMAUTA to be a great place to learn Spanish. All of the other students and teachers have been welcoming and friendly and I have very much enjoyed my lessons so far. In addition to the classes, there are organized activities almost every weekday and despite being up a rather steep hill, the views are spectacular and it is only a few minutes walk down into the centre of town.

AMAUTA also provides a good base from which to explore Cusco and the surrounding area, although I would recommend booking any trips and excursions once already in Peru.

After just one week, I feel that my Spanish has already greatly improved, and I may even have picked up a few words of Dutch and German given the large number of students that speak in these languages.
