I like the school because there are very many different people to learn Spanish with and the ambience is very good. I think the teachers are very kind, helpful and patient. It’s nice to be in a group so you can learn from each other. I think it’s also good to have individual lesson because you speak Spanish much more. It’s also possible to use the internet, book, trips and wash your clothes. I really enjoy being here.

I studied Spanish en AMAUTA for 2 weeks because I want to travel to Bolivia, Argentina and Chile. The two weeks of Spanish (6h per day 2 private classes and 4 hours ofgroup) were quite intensive but I get the feeling of really improving my Spanish. The school is located near the center of Cusco and so it seems to be a very good place to begin, to learn or improve your Spanish.

I had a great experience at the AMAUTA school! From the careful way Katelijn prepared me for the trip weeks before hand via continuous email communication, the talented and caring teachers, to the extra social activities such as salsa dancing and movies. The AMAUTA school really knows what they are doing, and they do it superbly. What made the experience special was that you felt like you were part of a family from the very beginning. The staff and teachers go out of their way to make sure that you are truly comfortable and happy. The location of the school is excellent just off of the main area of Plaza de Armas. The school itself is beautiful with a charming terrace where students hang out, it has a great view of Cusco, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. I learned a lot of Spanish in my time here. The teachers were great at knowing who to teach me at my level, so I was able to improve in a short amount of time. I'm grateful to them forever!

I would recommend AMAUTA because it is a great place to study spanish – no matter whether you are a complete beginner, fairly advanced, 18 or 50 year old or used to learning language or not. The teachers and staff are very experienced, helpful, patient, flexible, up-to-date with didactics and cultural topics and provide each student with excellent material, exercises and practice so that within days you are communicate and understand others. The small classes also ensure a very personal and friendly atmosphere which help to feel secure when trying out the first sentences in Spanish. AMAUTA is also great because the travel agency, Dos Manos, provides fantastic trips and tours and has special offers for AMAUTA students. Apart from that AMAUTA provides its students with fun extra activities and is always a great place for meeting people from all-over the world. I’d love to stay longer here and I envy those of you who still have to visit Cusco and start studying at AMAUTA! All the best!

Great location right off the plaza. If this is your first time studying Spanish, AMAUTA is the place to start. An international selection of students as friendly as they come, 17 teachers local to Cusco, who incorporate the city into their lesson plans.

Taking classes at AMAUTA school was very benefical for my travels throughout South America. The professors at the school are fun but also teach everyone a lot, the classes are small which helps a lot too. Anyone who takes classes at AMAUTA will improve their Spanish, no matter what level they are at presently.
