My name is Andre Coderre and I chose AMAUTA Peru because it appeared to be a great school that was located right in the city center of Cusco. This was my first experience taking Spanish classes and I felt like I definitely improved! I would recommend AMAUTA because it has a nice atmosphere and has a great community of people to hang out with. It was very nice and very interesting.

My name is David and I'm studying Spanish with AMAUTA Spanish School. We did a lot of excursions to Inca ruins and, in the school itself, we learned a lot. I came with a beginner Spanish level and I improved in grammar, conversation, and listening. I understand a lot now! I would highly recommend AMAUTA Spanish School because it's just fun! You can live at the school, get your laundry done, and it's just a nice place to be.

My name is Marco. I found out about AMAUTA through a travel agency. I am studying Spanish as I travel through South America. I think it is important to speak Spanish so that I can communicate with people and get the fair price. I really liked the classes here at AMAUTA, we always changed teachers so that we got different approaches at grammar and teaching styles, which made it easier to learn. Cusco is a great city because it has such an interesting history.

I've only been at AMAUTA in Cusco for two weeks but I have already seen a big improvement in my beginner Spanish. The teachers are professional and friendly, the course work is well-structured and there is a strong focus on student participation in class. This is a great school and a much better way to improve your Spanish skills than Duolingo!.

Hi my name is Rosa. I am from the Netherlands and I took two weeks of Spanish lessons at AMAUTA in Cusco, Peru.
The Spanish group lessons I took where really instructive, I've learned a lot of Spanish in two weeks.
Cusco is a very nice city, there is so much to do! I did the quad tour to Maras & Moray, I did paragliding in the Sacred Valley and I hiked the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu for 5 days – which I definitely would recommend to anyone! I lived in student residence; the lunches were very tasty. I also participated in the charity week, we played beerpong, ate delicious things and I even won a nice prize with the music bingo. I would definitely recommend this experience to others, and if I had known in advance that this would have been such a cool experience than I had booked for longer!.

Hi my name is Rahel and I’m from Switzerland. I had three reasons to come to Peru. First of all I wanted to pick up a bit of Spanish, then I wanted to do some trekking and finally, I wanted to learn how to surf on the waves. All of these three things you can do in Peru, so that’s why I chose to come to Peru. I followed a week of Spanish lessons at AMAUTA Spanish School and I am glad I did. It was very communicative and you got the chance to get to know a lot of people. I stayed at the residence of the school. I had a big room room here, Cusco is really fascinating, there are a lot of old buildings from the Inca times, it is a beautiful city! I would definitely recommend this experience of travelling to Peru and learning the Spanish language at AMAUTA Spanish School to others!.

Hi my name is Sanne and I am 18 years old. I am from the Netherlands and I have been at a AMAUTA for 7 weeks now. I followed 3 weeks of Spanish Classes and 4 weeks of volunteer work. I did volunteer work at an orphanage, the girls made ceramic arts and crafts.
I followed Group lessons and I really liked it because I was in a group with only two other students. I really liked the Spanish teachers, they were really good!
What I liked most about Cusco is, that there is always something to do and everything is really close by.
I choose Peru, because the culture seemed interesting to me. I felt safe here and that was important for me because I was only 17 years old when I arrived. Peru was high on my bucket list!
After Peru, I am going to Bolivia for one week and then I am going home. I really liked my stay here at Amauta and in Cusco, I also loved the trip we took to the Sacred Valley and the lessons I had there. I would definitely recommend AMAUTA to other students!.

I followed 4 weeks of Spanish classes and I did 4 weeks of volunteer work. The lessons where really good, I liked the change in teachers and the difference in the classes. The lessons where interactive but we also learnt a lot. I went to the campus school in the Sacred Valley as well.
I did voluntary work at an elementary school. I worked as a teacher assistant, I really liked it but sometimes it was hard but I learned a lot. I would definitely do volunteer work again although it was a little chaotic. Cusco is a nice city with different nationalities I really enjoyed my time here.
I went to Machu Picchu with the Inca Jungle trek. Unfortunately I got sick but even then I loved it! The organization of the whole trekking was really well taken care of and I would definitely recommend it.
What I liked the most about my time here, was meeting new people and actually the whole experience, The school, the city and of course Peru! .

I've been here in Peru for one month, I did Spanish classes at the school. I had a really nice time here at AMAUTA, I met a lot of nice people and I really liked the teachers and the atmosphere here at AMAUTA. Cusco is a really nice city, I made a lot of nice weekend trips.
What I liked the most about Cusco is that the city is not too big and there are a lot of nice bars. I liked AMAUTA because it is a small school, the classes are not that big, there were 3 or 4 students in my class. I stayed at a host family, the food was really good and the people are really friendly. I will definitely recommend AMAUTA to others!.
