I really enjoyed my time at Amauta. Everyone is approached and friendly. As someone who arrived with previous Spanish knowledge – I was never overwhelmed or pushed too far, however, the professors were great to encourage as much Spanish as possible. I also completed the Medical Spanish Course – these two weeks were an excellent introduction to the Peruvian system and interacting with patients in Spanish – I feel much happier going on to volunteer as a doctor in Peru having completed the course.

I enjoyed studying Spanish at Amauta Spanish School Peru since the ambience was great. Having the possibility to go to Study in the Sacred Valley with my class mates was really an enriching experience because we got the chance to visit may other sites and enjoyed a different climate. To sum it all up I would not want to miss my experience in Cusco. Also staying with a host family offered me the possibility to practice my Spanish and get an insight of the Peruvian culture.

I liked that AMAUTA is really close to the centre and you can reach everything by walking. I met really nice people in the school and can go home with new friends from all over the world. The teachers are very friendly, explain about the Spanish language and the culture. I am happy I spent four weeks in this school!

I studied in AMAUTA Peru in Cusco with my 14 year old daughter. It was a very good experience for us and we improved quickly in our Spanish skills. We really liked that the classes were very structured and that the teachers are very professional and have a lot of experience. AMAUTA is an excellent school!.

It was a really good experience! The teachers are really nice and very competent and the organisation of the Spanish classes was good. The only point that was not so good was that Cusco and therefore the classrooms can get pretty cold.

My husband, my 5 year old daughter and I took private spanish lessons in the Sacred Valley through the Amauta Spanish School. The Urubamba valley is a perfect place to study Spanish, as the environment is beautiful and relaxing. As a family travelling for a year, with a tight budget, being able to camp whilst taking lessons was perfect. The school really made an extra effort to accomodate our needs. We only were able to take 6 hours of lessons, but in that time we were able to receive some valuable lessons to help us utilize spanish in our travelling context. The lessons were valuable for our daughter to increase her confidence.

I studied Spanish at Amauta Peru for seven weeks and it was one of the best experiences of my life.
I lived with a local Peruvian family and I learned a lot about Peruvian culture and their daily life. The Spanish group classes are small, there are many different levels.
We went out with our teacher at least once a week to visit a cultural site in Cusco, as for example a museum or the market.
Finally, I loved the atmosphere of Amauta. Before and after the classes all students come together to plan all kind of adventures and outings. For me, learning Spanish with AMAUTA in Cusco was a GREAT experience.

My son Diego (11) attended Amauta Spanish School in Peru. Excellent program, I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn or improve their Spanish. The school made all the arrangements for our trips to Lake Titicaca, Machu Pichu and Amazon. Everything has gone super smooth.

Diego loved his teachers and said that he learnt more here at Amauta in Cusco in 25 minutes than he learnt before at other schools in a complete day. The host family was very nice as well. Thanks for everything.
