Plaza de Armas del Cusco – Explore the Historical Center (~ 9min)

If there’s one place you must visit in Cusco, it’s the Plaza de Armas. Once a significant site in pre-Inca times, it later became the epicenter of the Inca Empire. Following the Spanish conquest, the plaza’s original structures were destroyed and replaced with colonial architecture.

Today, Plaza de Armas is a vibrant gathering place that blends history and modern life. Here, you’ll find the majestic Cusco Cathedral, the Church of the Society of Jesus, and the Chapel of Triumph.
