Meals
For the students living in the residence, there are two meals included without any additional charge.
in the mornings, there is a daily continental breakfast (coffee, tea, bread, mermelade, butter) with different extras such as fresh fruit juice, eggs, yogur, panqueques, cheese and so on. Around lunch time, our chef serves a home cooked warm meal. Our menu combines lovely dishes and ingredients of the famous Peruvian cuisine, combined with vegetarian dishes and international cuisine. There is a daily vegetarian option. Our students in Peru and volunteers in Cusco enjoy living together and sharing their experiences in Peru in their rooms, the common room and the sunny spacious courtyard.
Nice atmosphere
Last but not least, there is a great atmosphere here! The Spanish students and volunteers in Cusco enjoy living together. It’s great to share all the new experiences with your new friends. Many great tours in Cusco or trekkings to Machu Picchu are planned here, such as the Inca Jungle Trek, or the Salkantay Trek.
Peruvian host families
The AMAUTA residence was originally opened upon request of the many students that confirm living at our residence is their preferred option. This doesn’t mean that our Peruvian host family option is not booked by many other Spanish students – a great way to practice your Spanish and feel part of a Peruvian family, learning about Peruvian culture and daily life.
AMAUTA also offers the option to combine both accommodation options: for instance the participants in the AMAUTA Spanish and Volunteer program, live with a host family while learning Spanish and live with other students and volunteers in the student residence while volunteering in Peru.

Hi,
I’m a French student in La Rochelle, and I’ll do an internship in Cusco for 6 months.
I’ve been looking for a place to rent but I have to admit, I struggle finding a good place.
Can you give me more information about the AMAUTA Residence, and tell me if I can candidate to take part of it as a roomate.
I’ll be coming to Cusco on April 8th, and I would stay for 6 months.
Thank you for your answer.
