Sinds ik aangekomen ben in Cusco voor mijn Spaanse programma in Peru, is er een aantal vragen die ik mijzelf in gedachten maar blijf stellen. Wil je weten welke?

  1. Waarom heb ik het gevoel dat ik altijd omhoog ga?
    Cusco, het antieke centrum van het Inca Rijk, bevind zich in het Andes gebergte op een hoogte van ongeveer 3500 meter boven zee niveau. Het is vlakbij de Heilige Vallei van de Inca’s, wat het mystieke karakter van de hoofdstad complementeert en het is het cruciale punt voor de Inca cultuur. De voornaamste reden voor mij om naar Peru te reizen was de historische Inca cultuur. (more…)

  1. Why do I feel like I am always going uphill in Cusco?
    Cusco, the ancient centre of the Incan Empire, is located in the Andes mountain range at an altitude of roughly 3,500 m above sea-level. Its location close to the “Sacred Valley of the Incas” complements its mystic character of the capital and the crucial point for Inca culture. (more…)
