Buenos Aires is the capital of culture in Latin America, and offers so much to see and do that you will never get bored. From live tango shows, late-night bbq’s to drinking mate in the park; there is something for everyone’s taste!

Tour Argentina on the Train to the Clouds!

Traveling to remote and desolate places used to be hard, but with the train to the clouds not anymore! From the city of Salta you can now cross the mighty Andes in the northwest of Argentina to the height of 4,200 m. taking in panoramic views that make your jaw drop!

Whatever you desire you can find it on the streets. Not so official vendors sell food and drinks from stalls or just on the curb carrying a basket. A favorite among the porteños is the empanada, a delicious stuffed pastry roll.

Important news: how to pay your Argentina Reciprocity Fee online.
- Anyone with a United States, Canadian and Australian nationality flying into Buenos Aires, Argentina has to pay a reciprocity fee, equivalent to the entrance fees those countries charge to Argentine residents. The current amounts are: U$D 160 for US citizens (valid for 10 years), U$D 100 for Australians (one year) and U$D 75 for Canadians (single entry plus re-entries from bordering countries allowed within 3 months).

Starting the 29th of December it is not possible anymore to pay this reciprocity fee upon arrival at Ezeiza Airport (EZE), Buenos Aires largest airport where most foreign passengers arrive. Instead tourists and business travelers now need to pre-pay online by visiting the website of the Argentine National Immigration Directorate (DNM): provinciapagos

  • Register as a user via the “Sign Up” button located below the log-in area.
  • Complete the form with personal and credit card details.
  • Print proof of payment and bring it with you to present to immigration upon arrival to validate your entry to Argentina.

One way to avoid this is by flying into other points of entry where no reciprocity fee is required, yet, such as Bariloche, Mendoza, El Calafate,Ushuaia or Iguazu.
