The Lanin vulcano is a stratovolcano on the border of Argentina and Chile. It forms part of two national parks, one in Argentina (National Park Lanín) and one in Chile (National park Villarrica). It is possible to climb the volcano; this is a great hiking excursion in Patagonia and guarentees a truly unforgettable experience.
