The most prominent construction in Raqchi is the Temple of Wiracocha, the great creator god in the Inca mythology. The temple is an enormous rectangular structure of two stories high. Because of its huge proportions and its importance, the Inca site Raqchi is sometimes simply referred to as Temple of Wiracocha, although there are other structures as well.
