Coricancha, Temple of the Sun, in Cusco
Coricancha, better known as the Temple of the Sun was the most sacred and important temple in Cusco in the Inca Empire. The temple was dedicated to the Inti, the god of the sun. It is considered as one of the highlights of Cusco and the Sacred Valley.
