"Santurantikuy" means "Selling of the Saints" in Quechua. Many religious handmade ceramics are sold on the Christmas market in Cusco. This "niño Manuelito" is one of the most popular figures sold on the craft fair. In Cusco, it is an important representation of the child Jesus and has become a very important figure in the culture of Cusco. Niño Manuelito is represented as a white boy with black hair, rosy cheeks and usually, tears in his eyes.
