Spanish and Excursions in Argentina

Argentina is such a beautiful and astounding country that it is almost a shame to spend too much time in the classroom! For those who want the opportunity to explore Argentina and participate in all of the diverse tours and activities while conquering the Spanish language, taking part in the AMAUTA SPANISH AND EXCURSIONS package is the best way to go.

This program includes a total of 50 hours of Spanish Instruction (combination of group and individual classes) along with several excursions in Argentina. Buenos Aires. The total program lasts for 3 weeks, though extra weeks (with alternative excursions and trips) can be booked upon request. Take advantage of all that this country has to offer! Accomodation during this program can be arranged at a host family or at the Student accommodation. Please note that accommodation is an additional cost, except during some of the weekend excursions (Iguazu).

This package includes a Buenos Aires City Tour, that provides an in-depth introduction to its history, its architecture, the culture of its people, its anecdotes and secretes; a visit to one of the famous estancias at the countryside (the Pampa) –includes horseback riding and expert horseback riders show their "criollo" skills on the horses - as well as a guided visit to an ecological preservation and the local zoo; a local Tango Show with Dinner and a visit to the famous MALBA Museum.

We will also enjoy a nice day excursion to Tigre, the weekend getaway destination of the Porteños. We will sail around the hundreds of islands that constitute the Parana River Delta, an ecologically diverse and valuable reserve, at the mouth of the Rio de la Plata.

During one weekend, we will visit the world famous IGUAZÚ falls (by night bus)! A full guided tour to the Argentinean side of the National Park is included with incredible view of the more than 200 falls. You will also have the chance to take the optional Great Adventure navigation which takes you for a ride around the fall and to take a train to the Devil’s Throat. There is also the possibility to visit briefly the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls from where you will get a panoramic view of the falls visited the previous day. What an experience!
