Volunteer Plus Program

Volunteer Plus ProgramVolunteer Plus Program

The AMAUTA Volunteer Plus Program is especially suited for professionals in fields of interest such as doctors, dentists, hairdressers, gardeners, mechanical, electricians and other.

This program requires a 16 week commitment. Initially you will have 4 weeks of group Spanish study, followed by 12 weeks of volunteer work in your specific field.

Many of our volunteer projects seriously need assistance in skilled areas and benefit greatly from skilled workers volunteering their time in Peru and Argentina. During a longer commitment, more substantial support can be offered.

During your Spanish study you may choose to live with a host family or in our student residence. During your volunteer work you may move into our student flats or stay in the student residence. In your spare time, different activities such as meetings, workshops, lectures and hikes in the surrounding areas will be organized and the volunteers are invited to participate in the free activities held at the school.

It is recommended that participants have already studied some Spanish before arrival or have basic communication skills.
