Miguel M. Delgado

Biography

Was an actor, screenwriter and director in Mexico. Cousin of Maria Tereza Montoya and film actor Joaquin Pardavé.
He was born on April 1, 1904 in Mexico D. F. and died on January 2, 1994 in the same city.
In 1928 (at 24 years old) traveled to Los Angeles (California). Two known his, Josephine and Lupe Velez, he was introduced to actor Gary Cooper, who hired him as his secretary and personal assistant. With the help of actor landed a job as assistant director Henry Hathaway, the film company Paramount. Delgado remained in Hollywood until 1931.
Back in Mexico, from 1933 to 1990 had a long career. He is recognized for his outstanding work as stage director and his long collaboration as a stage director with the comic actor Mario Moreno "Cantinflas".
