Was born on September 18, 1978 in Madrid, Spain. Pilar Lopez de Ayala early began her artistic life participating in amateur theater productions of nature being her dream to become an actress of international cinema. Her first roles were in television series such as "I, a Woman," "Contigo pan and onions" or "Menudo is my father." As early as 1995 debuted in cinema with the movie "The Invisible Child," directed by Rafael Monleón. Latest for 1999 Pilar was appearing in several films, "When you come back to me" de Gracia Querejeta or "The Great Life" (2000) by Antonio Cuadri. Her first major role she does in "Dance me water" (2000), a film directed by Josetxo San Mateo. For large role in the movie "Kisses for All" (2000 ) was nominated for a Goya Award as Best Actress. "Juana la Loca" (2001) of Vicente Aranda's built it up by winning the Goya for Best Actress and the Silver Shell at San Sebastian Festival.
Her new status as a star of Spanish cinema led him to be chosen by the Freixenet brand known for starring in her holiday spot.
