Biography

Born in Sink , Pinar del Rio , Cuba on August 12 of 1920 . As a teacher for over twenty years of the National Art School students had the outstanding figures of the Cuban scene.
Joined to the task acting from young unique talent for painting and singing, whose beginnings were retraced in the emotional meeting with former colleagues.
Considered master teacher of acting, which supports the collection of the National Award of Artistic Education, Eguren currently transmitted their knowledge to children and adolescents integrated into a project for four years developing the Napoleonic Museum of the nation's capital.
Rebeca Cobos quiso ser actriz desde siempre. Desde antes, incluso. Ha participado en numerosas películas (‘Tuno negro’, ‘Diario de una becaria’, ‘No digas nada’, entre otras), obras de teatro (‘Fulgor y muerte de Joaquín Murieta’) y series de televisión (‘ángel o demonio’, ‘Hospital central’ o ‘Compañeros’).
Sus años de estudio en escuelas de interpretación como Bululú, La Lavandería, HB Studio (Nueva York) o Cambridge Studio -donde estudió a los autores isabelinos- le han inoculado una inquietud constante por textos distintos que sorprendan y hagan reflexionar al público. Así se encontró con ‘Freedom’, de Rick Limentani. Quedó tan fascinada que se lió la manta a la cabeza y la ha montado en Reino Unido.
