Biography

Born July 26, 1965 in Placetas (province of Las Villas) Cuba.
He started in theater at age fifteen as an actor Amateur and seventeen and a student at the Institute Superior de Arte in Havana, where he graduated Bachelor of Arts in 1988.
He became known internationally in 1994 from the international success of the film Strawberry and Chocolate, which included an Oscar nomination in 1995.
He has extensive professional experience not only in the film, but also in theater and television.
